Sharianne Whetstine, also known as Sweet Pea, hails from Brown County and plays a wide variety of original music from soft ballads to peppy uptempo tunes to heavy hitting rock with thoughtful well written lyrics and catchy hooks. Sharianne has a very unique Indiana girl voice straight out of Bean Blossom.  Sharianne released her second original album "Free Flowin Poet" in March 2025. Sweet Pea can be found on weekends performing in her hometown of Nashville, Indiana and the surrounding area. 

With a childhood surrounded by music, Sweet Pea has refined her skills by following in her parents footsteps. Her father is a songwriter and has continued his passion of music since Sweet Peas birth. The nickname Sweet Pea was given to her by her father, Don Whetstine. Her mother, Jenny Sue Whetstine is also multi instrumentalist and currently plays bass and sings with Don. Sharianne’s brother, Brent rounds out the family as a guitarist and audio/media specialist.

Sweet Pea has performed over a span of 30 + years as a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist. Sweet Pea performs with several lineups currently and has performed with many bands through the years
